If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. These terms may be updated at any time, and continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Apex Laguna Beach Tree Services provides residential and commercial tree services in Laguna Beach, CA and surrounding Orange County communities. Services include tree removal, tree trimming, tree pruning, stump grinding, stump removal, land clearing, emergency tree service, and commercial tree service. All services are subject to availability, site conditions, and applicable local permits or requirements.
All estimates provided by Apex Laguna Beach Tree Services are based on a site visit and the conditions observed at the time of the estimate. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices are subject to change if site conditions differ materially from those observed during the estimate, if additional work is requested, or if unforeseen hazards are discovered once work begins. Any changes to scope or price will be communicated and agreed upon before additional work proceeds. Verbal estimates are not binding; only written quotes confirmed by both parties are binding.
Jobs are scheduled based on availability. We will confirm your appointment in advance. If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs. We reserve the right to reschedule work in the event of unsafe weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements are made in writing before work begins. We accept payment by cash, check, or other methods specified at the time of booking. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work starts. Unpaid balances are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month after 30 days. Customers are responsible for all costs of collection, including reasonable legal fees, for unpaid balances.

Failure to disclose known hazards or restrictions that result in damage or delays may limit our liability and could result in additional charges.
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a service, contact us within 7 days of completion and we will work with you to address any reasonable concern. This does not cover conditions that arise from circumstances outside our control after the work is completed, including weather events, subsequent pest damage, or normal tree growth. No warranty is provided for tree health following removal or pruning, as tree response to work varies by species and conditions.
Apex Laguna Beach Tree Services carries liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Our liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or property damage not directly caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities or irrigation lines that were not disclosed or marked prior to work.
Certain tree work in Laguna Beach and surrounding jurisdictions may require city permits or HOA approval. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain required permits before work begins unless we have agreed in writing to assist with permitting as part of the service. Work performed without required permits at the customer's direction is the customer's responsibility.
If a dispute arises from these Terms or from services provided, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration in Laguna Beach, CA before initiating any litigation. Nothing in this section limits either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters requiring immediate action.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate courts of California.
